This is a look into my experimental Stretched Pacer also known as a BushMaster. This airplane started out it’s life as a PA 22 nose wheel Tri-Pacer and was later modified into a PA 22/20 tail wheel conversion.

Then, a few years back, it was stripped down, the fuselage was stretched 22″, the wings were stretched 4′ and the frame was reinforced for super cub gear and a left hand door. It was then fitted with a 200hp Lycoming I0360 angle valve engine and a MT adjustable pitch propellor.

This story also delves into my aviation story where I briefly discusses ministry work in bush Alaska and how that has fueled his passion for flying. Since gaining an aircraft capable of off airport operations it has fueled my passion for fishing, hunting and exploring Alaska’s diverse, beautiful backcountry. We really do have a great back yard!
